Prophesy Life To Your Valley Of Dry Bones

(Ezekiel 37:4-5 NLT – Then He said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to The Word of The Lord! This is what The Sovereign Lord says: Look! I Am going to put breath into you and make you live again!’”)

The NIV of today’s focal verses say, Then He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear The Word of The Lord! This is what The Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.’”

How electric and life-giving are those words?!

Over this last week, as I’ve sat with Papa God and meditated on Ezekiel chapter 37, verses 1-14, Holy Spirit has just been continually unveiling and wrecking me in the best possible way with new and fresh revelation of The Word of God. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read that passage of Scripture over the course of my life, but wasn’t truly cognizant of how powerful the gift of prophesy is or mindful of the fact that The Word is alive—literally alive. And not only is The Word alive, but it gives life as well. (John 1:1-5)

Just in spending intimate time with The Lord, it has amazed me how notably the truth of those very words have just adhered to my spirit and been a constant reminder of how dynamic The Word really is. And in me taking the time to reflect upon that truth, it reminded me of yet another truth that mustn’t be negated. And that truth is, that our words as in the words that we’re speaking daily are paramount.

The Bible says that death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruits. (Proverbs 18:21) So, the question to ponder then becomes, what are we speaking forth over our lives, our families, our friends, the dreams of our hearts, and our destinies?

The Bible also says, What comes out of the mouth is what’s overflowing in the heart. (Luke 6:45)  What that says to me is, that what we say is what we truly believe in our heart of hearts not only about ourselves, but also about those around us as well. I would like to propose that we should intently mull over what we’ve been speaking forth and if our thoughts and words don’t line up with the truth of who God says we are and who He’s created us to be, then we need to replace those thoughts and those words with His truth.

We not only need to meditate on the perfection of the promises within The Word of God, but sit with Him in the secret place, ask Him to speak to us His truth— that eternal truth that He spoke over our lives from the moment that He first thought of us, listen for His voice to sweetly whisper the truth of who we are into our hearts, and then began to prophesy that truth over our lives.

As we position ourselves to start speaking life over ourselves and others everyday, here are 4 powerful little gems/tokens of truth for us to store in the treasure chest of our hearts and minds.

  1. ) Before The Lord created us in our mother’s womb, He knew us, approved of us as His chosen instrument, and set us apart consecrating us unto Himself. (Jeremiah 1:5)
  2. ) We are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14) (That reference is from the NIV, but I really recommend reading Psalm 139:1-18 from TPT as well because the wording there is much more personal, intimate, and elaborate.)
  3. ) The Lord’s plans and thoughts toward us have always been to give us unwavering hope and a bright future. His heart for us is that we would abundantly prosper. (Jeremiah 29:11)
  4. ) Jesus came to give us everything in abundance, more than we expect—LIFE in its fullness until we overflow! (John 10:10)

As we enter into this new year, let us hold the truth of those 4 things in our hearts, being fully aware of the efficacy that lies within the words that we speak, and knowing that above all else The Word of God will always stand firm, outshine, and reign supreme over the blatant lies of the enemy.

In closing, my prayer is that we would unequivocally accept and receive The Word of The Lord as the infallible truth that it is and prophesy that truth over our lives, our loved ones, our hopes, our talents, our gifts, and our dreams allowing The Lord to breathe life into, upon, and within our own personal “valley of dry bones”.

“The human voice: It’s the instrument we all play. It’s the most powerful sound in the world, probably. It’s the only one that can start a war or say ‘I love you.'” – Julian Treasure

THE SPIRIT Of THE LORD Is Here

ASKS

(Jeremiah 1:12 WEB- Then Yahweh said to me, “You have seen well; for I watch over My Word to perform It.”)

As The Lord began to write the words of today’s focal verse upon the walls of my heart, I felt those very words come to Life within my spirit. And so today, my Loves, I want you to be encouraged and know that our God is watching over His Word and every promise that He has spoken forth— He will perform. For His Words are perfect and true and They will never fail, but will accomplish the purpose in which He decided to draw you near and ever so gently whisper Them upon the tablets your souls. The promises of love and hope that He has planted within your heart in the secret place will bloom and be established in your life.

Today, as we’ve entered into the new year, let us begin to declare the promises of His Word over our lives and over the lives of the ones we love every single day. For our Father is watching and wherever He sees His Word, there His Spirit will be to bring that Word to Life. (2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV- For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through Him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.)

The song below that I’m sharing with you guys this morning is one of my favorite worship songs. The beginning of the song says “The atmosphere is changing now. For The Spirit of The Lord is here. The evidence is all around and The Spirit of The Lord is here.”.

Take just a moment and allow the truth and promise of those lyrics to imbrue the walls of your heart and spirit because as you begin to declare, believe, and stand on His Word, I can promise you that you’ll see everything change not just for the better, but for the very best. (John 11:40 AMP- Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe in Me, you will see the glory of God; the expression of His excellence?”)

With that being said, I leave you guys with three things to allow your hearts to embrace and your minds to reflect upon this morning: speak His Word, believe in It’s Truth, and watch for the evidence of His Presence as He performs those very words in your life.

Abba, we come to You this morning first to say thank You for breathing Your Life within us and allowing us the beauty and privilege of entering into this new year. Words cannot express our gratitude for The Life that You have gifted to us through Your Holy Spirit. You are truly a good, good Father. And this day, as You are watching over The Word and promises that You’ve spoken to our hearts, we patiently wait upon the power of Your Presence to bring Them to Life. We love You, we honor You, and we give You all of the glory.  In the name of Jesus Christ, Your precious Son, and our Lord and Savior— I pray, Amen and so be it.

Dear Hearts, welcome to week 13 of the “Fridays Are For Faith ‘n Friends” blog hop! I’m so happy to have you guys join me this morning and I pray that you were truly blessed by today’s message. We Are THE LIVING LETTERS of CHRIST To The World

ASKS

(2 Corinthians 3:2-3 VOICE- You are our letter, every word burned onto our hearts to be read by everyone. You are The Living Letter of The Anointed One, The Liberating King, nurtured by us and inscribed, not with ink, but with The Spirit of The Living God—a Letter too passionate to be chiseled onto stone tablets, but emblazoned upon the human heart.)

I just love that passage of Scripture.

As believers, our lives are The Living Letters of Christ.

Those few words embody such incredible power.

How often do we think about the fact that every person we encounter can see us, but read Jesus? Meaning, others actually have the ability to see us, but conceptualize Him in us. The Bible says that we were made in The Lord’s image. So, isn’t that exactly what our lives should mirror?

As I was meditating on today’s focal passage I began to think about my own life. The greatest desire on my heart is to make sure that I represent Him well.

Being a Christian means so much more than just assuming the title and attending church on Sundays. When we accept Christ in our hearts as our Lord and Savior, essentially what that means is that we are to carry on His legacy through the power and Presence of His Holy Spirit living on the inside of us.

We are to be His light shining His love, grace, and glory in the darkest of places. We are to be the salt of Christ helping those who don’t know Him to taste and see that He is good. (Matthew 5:13-16 MSG- “Let Me tell you why you are here. You’re here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You’ve lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage. Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.)

The prayer of my heart for us today is that our lives would truly exemplify The Life of Christ in word and in deed and that we would always be mindful of the fact that our presence in someone’s life could be the deciding factor in whether they come to know the heart of our Savior.

Abba, we come before You this morning incredibly grateful for Your Presence in our lives. We thank You for Your unconditional love for us and we’re so very honored that You trust us to carry on the legacy of Your precious Son, Jesus Christ. Father, help us to realize what a priceless treasure You have entrusted us with by You freely gifting Your Holy and perfect Spirit to us. Lord, give us the wisdom, provision, and strength to walk, live, breath, and stand in the great purpose of this indescribable Gift living on the inside of us. Give us the courage and boldness to be Your salt and light. May our lives spell out the heart of Jesus to everyone around us. Abba, we love You, we praise You, and we give You all of the glory. In the name of Jesus Christ, Your precious Son, and our Lord and Savior— I pray, Amen and so be it.

Molded To Perfection In HIS Hands

ASKS

Dear Hearts, I welcome you all to week 8 of the “Fridays Are For Faith ‘n Friends” blog hop! I’m honored to have you guys join me again today and I pray that you’ll join me here every Friday for prayer, love, and encouragement. As I explained in week 1, I may not be writing a message every Friday, but I will have a focal passage of Scripture in which I will be meditating on as I write a prayer to encourage your hearts. I will also be available to pray with or for you throughout the day and you can contact me for prayer anytime by clicking here. Also, each week I will share with you my favorite post from the previous week’s link-up.  … So, link-up, be encouraged, and spread the love!

(Jeremiah 18:4-6 NIV- But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him. Then The Word of The Lord came to me.  He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares The Lord. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in My hand, Israel.”)

The Father is The Master Potter and we are His clay. If only we would fully entrust our lives into His hands— He would mold us to perfection.

This morning as I was mulling over today’s focal passage, I just wanted to remind you guys that you are the flawless masterpiece and workmanship of The Father’s heart and hands. (Song of Songs 4:7 NIV- You are altogether beautiful, My darling; there is no flaw in you.)

Abba, I humbly yet boldly enter Your Holy Presence this morning with an incredibly grateful heart. Simply thankful for the beautiful truth that we are the preeminent creation of Your heart and hands. Father, I ask that you would help us to continuously surrender our hearts to Your heart daily that You may freely mold us to perfection. Your Word says that we are Your workmanship: Your own master work, a work of art, created in Christ Jesus, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used for good works, which You prepared for us beforehand, taking paths which You’ve set, so that we would walk in them living the good life which You’ve prearranged and made ready for us. Lord, today, I ask and pray that you would help us to know, understand, and embrace our worth in You. Abba, we love You and we praise Your glorious name. In the name of Jesus Christ, Your precious Son, and our Lord and Savior— I pray, Amen and so be it.

Happy Friday! I love you guys!

You Are THE LORD’S Most Treasured Possession

ASKS

(Deuteronomy 7:6 MSG- You are a people set apart as holy to God, your God. God, your God, chose you out of all the people on Earth for Himself as a cherished, personal treasure.)

I’ve read the focal verse for today countless times before, but this morning as I was mulling over it and meditating on The Truth that lies within each word, I was reminded of a precious encounter that I had with The Lord one morning a few months ago. I say one morning, but because I write everything down in my prayer journal, I know that the exact date of that morning was August 10th.

On that morning, I was just laying in bed praying as I normally would before I get up to start my day and The Holy Spirit spoke the name Darryl into my spirit. Often we hear The Lord speak to hearts in the still small voice or through subtle thoughts that if we aren’t careful, we’ll easily dismiss if our hearts aren’t aligned with God’s so we know to be attentive enough to recognize that it’s Him Who’s speaking to us. But this wasn’t like that at all…

The very second that He spoke the name Darryl to me, it completely interrupted my prayer because I felt a deep sense of urgency and uneasiness. So, I began to quiet myself and just sit before The Lord in a “be still and know” sort of posture because in that moment, I knew that there was more that He was prepping me for.

As soon as I did that, He showed me a man and though I couldn’t clearly see the man’s face, I saw that he was an amputee and I knew that the amputation had to do with his legs, but I couldn’t see if it was just one leg or both. I deeply sensed in my spirit that he used to be in the military meaning he was now a disabled veteran and I knew that on this particular morning, he was suicidal. (And when I say “I knew”, I mean those were the things that were being downloaded into my spirit through The Holy Spirit.) And then I heard The Lord say three words to me, Pray for himand so I immediately began to war for his life through prayer.

I’m sharing this with you guys to say this— I didn’t know this Darryl, in fact I don’t know anyone named Darryl, but God knew. The Lord knows, He sees, and He cares. He values The Life that He has breathed into our lungs even more than we do; so much more than we in our finite minds even have the ability to conceptualize.

Whoever Darryl is, I know that The Lord deeply loved and treasured him and so much so that HE would give me his name, show me the urgency of his situation in-depth, and tell me to pray for him— me, someone who had absolutely no clue he was. That was astounding to me. I also find it amazing that even when he was ready to give up on life, himself, and God— The Lord was right there in the midst.

I can just imagine The Lord overwhelming him with His Presence and telling him how much He loves and treasures him and all of the great things that are still ahead of him… and that in spite of his situation his life was still needed, his purpose still remained and it was so much greater than the trials and tribulations that he had gone through.

After I prayed for him, I just began to reflect and think about how God could’ve just stepped in and intervened to take care of the situation without including me. But the beauty in Him choosing not to do that was in that fact that He allowed me to experience Him in such a deep and personal way which not only increased the intimacy and depth of my relationship with Him, but it also revealed to me how much He treasures me as well. I mean, He trusted me to pray and war for someone’s life— literally. And I don’t take that lightly. It’s a very big deal to me.

Today, I just want to leave you guys with this— it not just Darryl and it’s not just me whom The Lord deeply treasures, but you as well. Every promise that God has made to us in His Word is perfect and true and I want you to know, believe, and embrace that Truth with your whole heart and soul. When I speak of The Truth of The Word, I’m actually speaking of Jesus, so what I’m really asking you to do is to know, believe, and embrace Jesus, Himself.

Even before The Lord intricately and beautifully knitted you together in your mother’s womb— He knew you, chose you, and set you apart as His cherished and personal treasure because He had a holy and perfect plan and purpose for our life. There is no one in the entire universe like you. For you are fearfully and wonderfully made; and out of all of creation The Father’s most treasured possession. You belong to Him, He is always with you, and His heart, mind, and eyes are always on you. (Isaiah 49:16 VOICE- Look here. I have made you a part of Me, written you on the palms of My hands. Your walls are always on My mind, always My concern.)

Abba, I come before Your Presence this morning asking that with each and every breath we take we would breathe in more of The Life and Love that is You. Father, I pray that as we inhale more of You, Your Holy Spirit would carry that Life into every ounce of our beings that we would not just stand on The Truth of Your Word, but as we breathe It in, It would be the very source that continually gives us Life. Help us to not just know in our minds, but to feel in our hearts, souls, and spirits to the very core of who we are in You just how much You cherish us and how deep Your love runs for us. Lord, on behalf every eye reading this, I ask that You would call them by name and whisper, I treasure you into their hearts. Abba, I praise You and thank You for these precious lives and I love You beyond words. In the name of Jesus Christ, Your precious Son, and our Lord and Savior— I pray, Amen and so be it.

To what greater inspiration and counsel can we turn than to the imperishable Truth to be found in this treasure house, The Bible?” Queen Elizabeth II

Heaven On Earth

ASKS

(Proverbs 8:17-21 VOICE- I love those who love Me: those who search hard for Me will find Me. Riches and honor are the benefit of following Me; so are lasting wealth and justice. My reward is better than gold, even the purest gold; and My profit is greater than the highest quality silver. I follow the way of right living. Follow Me along the path to find justice; I’m ready to meet those who love Me, bestow true riches upon them, and fill up their lives until their treasuries overflow.)

A few weeks ago, I was awakened from my sleep by the sound of The Lord’s voice. He audibly spoke to me and said, 8:17. For some reason, in my mind it registered that He was speaking in terms of the time, so I immediately grabbed my phone to check the time only to discover that it wasn’t 8:17. It was actually 4:00am. I didn’t say it out loud, but I thought to myself, “Lord, it’s not 8:17.”. And then He audibly responded by saying, No, not the time. Proverbs 8:17..

Proverbs 8:17 wasn’t a verse that I knew by heart, so I had to look it up. After I read verse 17, The Holy Spirit led me to continue reading the passage through verse 21. So, that’s where today’s focal passage comes from.

Before I go any further, let me just tell you that God amazes me.

As I have shared with you guys several times before, The Lord often speaks to me through dreams/visions, but mostly dreams. Well, right before He had awakened me with the passage of Scripture from Proverbs 8, that’s exactly what had taken place.

In this dream, I saw countless jewels and gemstones all around me. I mean everywhere I looked, I saw them radiantly glistening and sparkling in all different colors, shapes, and sizes. And one by one, The Lord was bringing each jewel before me. I would see the gem in His hand and as He brought each one before my eyes, I could hear His voice speaking to me about each one individually. It was almost as if He was explaining to me the meaning and power behind each one of these precious, treasured gems that He, Himself had beautifully created by the power of His very own hands.

Well, because the sound of His voice had awakened me so abruptly, when I woke up I knew what had taken place in the dream, but I couldn’t remember what He had said to me about each gem. The only thing I remembered was right before I woke up, in the dream, I heard Him say, Now, remember these three: the emerald, the pearl, and the tourmaline..

The odd thing about that was when I heard The Lord say to remember those three, I didn’t see the actual gems as I had been seeing throughout the entire dream, but instead the names of all three were written out in His hand for me to read.

I was familiar with both the emerald and the pearl and those are both referenced in The Bible, but the tourmaline isn’t. I had actually never seen or heard of the tourmaline in my life before I saw it written in His hand.

I believe that the emerald and the pearl represent or are symbolic of the known blessings that we treasure— such as the truth of God’s promises to us in His Word or things that we’ve prayed and believed for and then in return The Lord blessed us with. But, I believe that the tourmaline represents His gracelets or the grace gifts: meaning the great, unknown, undeserved blessings that He treasures, yet desires to adorn us with simply because He loves us and we belong to Him.

I was truly amazed that God would speak to me in a dream about jewels and gems which most of us consider to be of great value, but would then awaken me and give me a passage of Scripture that lets me know that if I’ll just continue to diligently seek and wholeheartedly follow Him, that what He has for me surpasses anything that I could dream of, imagine, or even pray for. His blessings are better than pure gold and greater than top choice silver.

When I speak of God’s blessings, I don’t just mean financial wealth, but spiritual wealth as well. For example, priceless treasures such as being able to enter His Presence, hear His voice, know His heart, access His wisdom, experience His grace, and see His glory. It is God, Himself Who is the greatest treasure and we have the precious privilege of experiencing the fullness of Him through His Holy Spirit living within us. (Ephesians 1:3 VOICE- Blessed be God, The Father of our Lord The Anointed One, Who grants us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms where we live in The Anointed—not because of anything we have done, but because of what He has done for us.)

Some may read today’s focal passage and think that The Lord is saying that if we’ll just seek and follow Him now (meaning while we’re here on earth), the reward of that is receiving the incomparable blessing that when this life is over, we’ll get to meet Him in heaven where it is there that He will bestow upon us the true treasure that He’s prepared for our lives.

Well, that’s true. However, I also believe that if we’ll make the choice to earnestly seek The Lord and genuinely follow Him, the benefit of that is Him allowing us the privilege of being able experience heaven now while we’re here on earth. And what I mean by that is, He wants us to experience the joy of knowing that He is a good Father. His heart’s desire for us as His children is to bless us far above and beyond all that we could ever imagine. God said, “I’m ready to meet those who love Me, bestow true riches upon them, and fill up their lives until their treasuries overflow.”.

That is certainly true for our eternity with Him in heaven, but I also know it to be true for our lives right now; here on earth. (Luke 17:20-21 GNT- Some Pharisees asked Jesus when the Kingdom of God would come. His answer was, “The Kingdom of God does not come in such a way as to be seen.  No one will say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’; because the Kingdom of God is within you.“)

Meeting with God simply means seeking Him in the secret place and intimately reveling in His Presence as we converse with Him in prayer and through worship. (Matthew 6:6 NKJV- But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father Who is in the secret place; and your Father Who sees in secret will reward you openly.)

So, Dear Hearts, be encouraged today knowing that The Lord is inviting and summoning you into His Holy Presence so that He can graciously bless you both spiritually and naturally, bestow upon you true riches, fill your life until your treasuries overflow, adorn you with heavenly keepsakes, and gift to you great and incomparable trinkets and tokens of grace that display His endlessly love for you. (1 Corinthians 2:9 CEV- But it is just as the Scriptures say, “What God has planned for people who love Him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds!”)

Abba, today, I come to You on behalf of every heart reading this and I ask and pray that You would draw them into the secret place of Your Presence that You may lavishly bless them with the heavenly treasures of Your grace just as Your heart desires. Father, I ask that You would open their hearts, minds, and spiritual eyes to not only see You as God and Creator, but to also deeply know You as the loving, gracious, and perfect Father that You are. Lord, You are better to us than we are to yourselves and we love You, we bless You, and we give You all of the glory. In the name of Jesus Christ, Your precious Son, and our Lord and Savior— I pray, Amen and so be it.

“We are ever surrounded by undeserved blessings. Even in His silence, He blesses us.” ~ Dr. David Jeremiah

Our GOD Sings And HIS Voice— Is Beautiful!

ASKS

(Zephaniah 3:17 CEV- The Lord your God wins victory after victory and is always with you. He celebrates and sings because of you, and He will refresh your life with His love.)

It’s been an entire month since I last shared with you guys, so I first want to start by saying I have missed you all and I love you so much!

I’ve taken the last month and a half to truly seek The Lord more intimately, so I have been fasting, praying, and just asking God to breathe His Holy Spirit within me and to let my breath be His breath.

When I enter into God’s Presence and my heart is crying out to Him, “Abba, please let Your breath become my breath.”, what I’m really saying is, “Father, the very same breath that You’ve used to breathe Your Life within my being, use me as Your divine vessel that I may breathe that same Life into the hearts and souls of others”.

I have been humbly, yet boldly praying in faith that His gift of The Holy Spirit would not just increase within me, but that It would consume me. If you’re an avid reader of my blog, you know that my prayer has often been, “Lord, less of me and more of You”. Well, as He has answered that prayer and allowed me the honor of experiencing Him in a deeper way, my prayer has since become, “Abba, none of me and all of You”.

The notion that God wanted to take me deeper in Him had been lingering in my spirit for months. However, unbeknownst to me at that time, my prayer had actually hindered my level of intimacy with Him because I was praying, “Less of me and more of You”, but He was longing to give me and to show me His more which was so much greater than the more that I had been expecting and praying for.

The Spirit led me to fast and pray because His more required that I seek Him with everything that I am and I needed that because there are some promises that He had spoken to my heart and some as far back as almost four years ago that I have been praying over continuously, but I’ve yet see them to come to fruition. I needed Him to speak to me to confirm those promises again because doubt had begun to creep in. And as a believer, you never want that because doubt is like kryptonite to our prayers. I faithfully live with a heart of expectancy. I know that His Words are true and I believe that He’ll do exactly what He’s promised me. It wasn’t that I doubted Him or His ability, but more so myself and if I had heard Him correctly the first time. I started praying, “Lord, remind me again. Send Th Holy Spirit to refresh me with the power and truth of Your Words”.

So, to say that God has amazed me over this last month and a half would be an understatement because He has been blowing my mind. It all started with me having these dreams of me praying. I would then actually wake up to pray about what ever it was that I had just dreamt that I was praying about and as soon as I would go back to sleep, it would happen again— just a continual cycle. So, all night long, I’m dreaming about praying and then waking up to pray. Getting little to no sleep, but feeling more rested than if I had slept all night. It’s almost as if God was testing me and saying, “Will you obey Me calling you to pray when it’s inconvenient for you? Will you honor My requests even if it means disturbing or interrupting your time of rest?”. That may not seem like an inconvenience to most, but if you truly know me, you know that I have trouble sleeping even when I’m tired, so when I do fall asleep it is a rare and needed treasure.

In me being obedient to His call to wake up and pray, He then started speaking to me through my dreams when I’m asleep and then through visions when I’m awake and showing me specific things about specific people, including myself.  So, in remembering the following passage of Scripture, I wrote them all down in my prayer journal and began to pray asking God to give me revelation of them. (Habakkuk 2:2-3 GNT- The Lord gave me this answer: “Write down clearly on tablets what I reveal to you, so that it can be read at a glance. Put it in writing, because it is not yet time for it to come true. But the time is coming quickly, and what I show you will come true. It may seem slow in coming, but wait for it; it will certainly take place, and it will not be delayed.). I mean, He has allowed me to experience Him in divine ways and some I don’t even know how to put into words or explain.

The more He revealed to me the more I desired to go even deeper and greater, and so much so that I then began to pray, “Lord take me deeper, show me more, increase and enlarge my territory of spiritual gifts. And He then brought this verse to mind, (1 Corinthians 12:31 AMP- But earnestly desire and zealously cultivate the greatest and best gifts and graces; the higher gifts and the choicest graces. And yet I will show you a still more excellent way; one that is better by far and the highest of them all—Love.) Essentially, what He was saying to me is, ” Desire more, but be careful not to desire My gifts more than you desire Me and don’t lose sight of the purpose to which I first called you to which is to love. First, desire Me because I Am Love and the gifts will follow and overflow.”.

Can I tell you that truly humbled my heart? His purpose for increasing His power and Presence in my life wasn’t just to reaffirm His promises to me, but for a much greater purpose which was to refresh me so that I would to be able to exceptionally do what He’s called me to do— love His people and extend His grace on the level that He desires for me to with no distractions.

I normally start my time of prayer and worship around 12am because that way God literally gets the first of my day, but it was around 10:30pm and I just felt led to pray and worship Him. So, I’m literally pacing the floor just praying and crying. I’m so desperate for His approval that I wanted Him to know that even though I desire His gifts they mean nothing without Him. I just cried, prayed, and laid my heart bare and exposed before Him about that as well as some other things that had been on my heart.

I always sing during my prayer time, and there’s a song that Bethel Music sings called “I Want To Know You”. I started to play the spontaneous worship version of that song which is about 50 minutes long and I just started singing, pacing the floor, and crying out to Him from the deepest desperation of my heart and soul. And I began to sing the words, “Lord, I want to know You. Let Your Spirit overwhelm me. Let Your Presence overtake my heart.and I just continued to sing that over and over again. And when I say, I want to know Him, I mean better than I know myself. … A few minutes before the song ended they start to sing the words, “Lord, put a new song in our hearts” and I stopped singing just to bask in His Presence. The Holy Spirit consumed me and in the sweetest whisper The Lord started to sing to me, “You know Me” over and over again in the same tune that I had been singing to Him. Those words are not apart of the song. That was just God being God.

As His child, He loves me so much that when there was grieve within my heart, He chose to sing me a lullaby to calm my spirit, celebrate me, and remind me of His unconditional love for me. As He sang to me, I laid down on my bedroom floor face first and I just uncontrollably wept with joy. That is the most intimate and the most beautiful moment that I’ve experienced with God to this date and it brought today’s focal verse to my remembrance. (Zephaniah 3:17 CEV- The Lord your God wins victory after victory and is always with you. He celebrates and sings because of you, and He will refresh your life with His love.) As I wept, He spoke to my heart and said, “Don’t mistake Me lovingly teaching you as Me reprimanding you. You know Me and I love you.”.

He literally refreshed my entire being by beautifully displaying His love for me through the expression of a song. Choosing to sing three simple, yet powerful words to my heart— “You know Me”. I got up off of the floor and I began to praise, worship, and sing to Him like never before. When I stopped singing it was 4:15am, my voice was almost gone, and I had not even realized that so much time had passed by. That’s the kind of time and intimacy that I want with Him every single day.

I’ve shared all of that with you to say this, I want you to know that our God is loving. He loves you with an everlasting love and even if you’ve never heard His voice, know that He is celebrating over you through a song that He’s written just for you. Above all else in your life, desire Him and the beauty and greatness that is Him will follow. (Matthew 6:33 NKJV- But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.) Our God is the same yesterday, today, and always. He is still The God of signs, wonders, and miracles, so know that what ever you have been praying and believing for, He can do! (Mark 9:23 WEB- Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”)

I’m sharing this song with you because I am praying that as you listen to it, God will impart His divine wisdom upon you and put a new song in your heart and spirit that will replenish, refresh, restore, and remind you of His eternal love for you. Please set aside approximately 50 minutes, listen to it in it’s entirety, and truly give The Lord your all because I believe with all of my heart that God is going to do a mighty, Life-giving, and life-changing work within you through this song.

Abba, I cry out to You on behalf of every person reading this. I lift them up in the name of Jesus and I ask and pray that today and everyday forth that Your Presence would manifest and ever-increase within their hearts and within their lives like never before. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You, Father and as they do, impart Your divine wisdom, peace, and understanding upon them. Lord, release a fresh wind of Your Holy Spirit within their souls that they may intimately know You and all that you have purposed for them. Abba, within this very moment let Your unconditional love consume them, sing to them, and put a new song in their hearts that they may be replenished, refreshed, and restored unto You. Do a mighty and divine work within, through, and for them. I praise You for their lives! And in the name of Jesus Christ, Your precious Son, and our Lord and Savior— I pray, Amen and so be it.

“You are my Hiding Place from every storm of life; You even keep me from getting into trouble! You surround me with songs of victory.” – David (Psalm 32:7 TLB)

LIFE Within THE WORD

ASKS

(Matthew 4:4 NIV- Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every Word that comes from the mouth of God.’”)

Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every Word that comes from the mouth of God. … Those were the very words that completely changed my life spiritually. As believers, I think we’ve all had moments or experiences that really solidified in our hearts “Ok, this whole God thing is for real”. I’ve had several things that have happened in my life where I knew that it was only God, but my very first “spiritual aha moment” happened about 5 years ago when I read Matthew 4:4.

I had been attending church my whole life, but it wasn’t until I read that particular verse for myself that I realized that it was The Word that was the missing piece to my puzzle of life. And it was The Word that would complete me and make me whole. Reading that one verse led to me reading The Bible in It’s entirety and from there my whole life changed because that’s where I found true intimacy with God. My heart longed for greater because I belonged to The Greatest. (1 Corinthians 3:23 NLT- You belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.)

So, what was Jesus really saying when He said, “Man can not live on bread alone.”?

Here’s what I believe. We merely exist without the consumption of The Word of God. And so, to truly live and thrive in all that He’s purposed us to be one must feast on His Word daily. Meaning just as our bodies long for food to function and operate at their best, our spirits hunger and long for the peace, strength, and Life that is God’s Word. (Luke 6:47-48 MSG- These words I speak to you are not mere additions to your life, homeowner improvements to your standard of living. They are foundation words, words to build a life on. If you work the words into your life, you are like a smart carpenter who dug deep and laid the foundation of his house on bedrock. When the river burst its banks and crashed against the house, nothing could shake it; it was built to last.)

I don’t know about you, but I’m completely in love with the phenomenal thought and beautiful truth that through God’s Word— I am built to last. And I pray that you would never lose sight of the fact that through His Word— you too are built to last. … Take a moment to truly allow your spirit to imbibe that truth. Everything we need is found in The Word. Christ is The Word and the more we consume It the more He becomes alive in us.

So today, I just want to remind you that there is Life within His Word and It has the power to love, calm, comfort, strengthen, encourage, inspire, empower, heal, renew, transform, and restore. The greatest gift that we can give to ourselves is to make the choice to partake of The Word and cling to The Life that lies within IT. (Psalm 119:114 MSG- You’re my place of quiet retreat; I wait for Your Word to renew me.)

Abba, today and everyday, increase the hunger of our hearts to seek and embrace the wisdom and truth that lies within Your Word. Give us a greater understanding of the value that It holds in and through our lives. Lord, help us to surrender to the freedom that is found in seeking You and obeying Your Word and Father, in seeking You may we find ourselves and all that You’ve purposed us to be. I pray that we would hide Your Word in our hearts that we would never sin against You. Abba, may our lives always be a reflection of Your Life within us. In the name of Jesus Christ, Your precious Son, and our Lord and Savior— I pray, Amen and so be it.

HIS Name Alone Is Enough

ASKS

(Exodus 3:13-14 AMP- And Moses said to God, Behold, when I come to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, What is His name? What shall I say to them? And God said to Moses, I Am Who I Am and What I Am, and I Will Be What I Will Be; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I Am has sent me to you!)

In reading today’s focal passage, I was reminded of this powerful truth— in and through every situation and every circumstance the name of The Lord is enough.

I dream and believe on a level that even I am often astonished by, but I know in my heart that as long as God is with me I have strength for all things. (Philippians 4:13 AMP- I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency.)

But what happens when God calls us to do something that is so much greater than what we feel we have the ability to accomplish? What happens in those moments when we’re seeking His provision, but can’t necessarily feel His Presence or hear His voice?

The answer is, whether we can hear His voice or feel Him with us or not— He’s always there. And we simply have to know and trust that what ever He asks of us or wherever He’s leading us, He’s already prepared the way. (Exodus 23:20 NIV- See, I Am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.)

I made a covenant with God that I would surrender to His Will and blindly follow wherever He leads. Meaning, I don’t have to see to believe. I don’t have to know or even understand to trust His process.

I can tell you from experience that this is a journey that has not always been easy and I’ve certainly had moments when I’ve felt like giving up. But I can also tell you that choosing to trust Him has been the best decision that I’ve ever made in my entire life. I am acutely aware of how His Presence in my life is continually molding me and making me greater in Him. And for that, I am eternally grateful.

As “genius” as I am, I’m still human and far from perfect. In all honesty, I still have moments where I feel inadequate and even unqualified to do the majority of what God has planted in my heart to accomplish. However, the beauty in that is, it’s not about what I feel, but in Whom I trust because in Him— I am sufficient.

Like Moses, I’ve had those “But Lord, what if?” moments and like Moses, God has always reminded me that in all things, in all situations, and in all circumstances— His name alone is enough!

I Am has sent me to you and today I just want to remind you that no matter what you’re going through or struggling with, God is with you. And in those moments when fear and doubt start to creep in remember that He is enough and you are sufficient in Him.

Dear Heavenly Father, today and everyday, let Your Holy Presence ever-increase within our hearts and in our lives. Lord, no matter how tedious the journey help us to trust You always and never doubt. Help us to realize and understand that You are more than sufficient, You will sustain us, and in You our worth and value are incomparable. Abba, whenever we lose sight of that truth, remind us that to simply call on Your name is enough. In the name of Jesus Christ, Your precious Son, and our Lord and Savior— I pray, Amen and so be it.

“If you took the love of all the best mothers and fathers who ever lived (think about that for a moment) — all the goodness, kindness, patience, fidelity, wisdom, tenderness, strength and love — and united all those virtues in one person, that person would only be a faint shadow of the love and mercy in the heart of God for you and me.” ~ Brennan Manning

HOLY SPIRIT, Scatter Within Me THY Cheerful Beams

ASKS

(John 14:12 NOG- “I can guarantee this truth: Those who believe in Me will do the things that I am doing. They will do even greater things because I Am going to The Father.”)

Today’s focal verse is one of my favorite verses because it reminds me of this incredibly powerful truth— the very moment that Jesus gave His Life and sent His Holy Spirit was the very moment that solidified God’s purpose for my life.

Christ choosing the cross for my salvation will never be in vain because in Him saving my life, I realize, understand, and appreciate that the greatest of who I am is visual only because His Spirit is alive in me.

To me, Jesus saying that for those of us who believe in Him, we will not only do the work that He has done, but that we will do even greater means that He possessed this phenomenal faith in us that He knew was so much greater than we would ever have the ability or capacity to conceptualize and see within ourselves.

Jesus knew that our faith in Him and in ourselves would sometimes waver. He knew that there would be times when on our own, we would simply fall short. He knew that times would arrive in our lives when we would need to be reminded of The Greater that lives within us. (John 14:25-26 MSG- I’m telling you these things while I’m still living with you. The Friend, The Holy Spirit Whom The Father will send at My request, will make everything plain to you. He will remind you of all the things I have told you.)

It is by us living and walking in the power, ability, provision, and authority of His Holy Spirit that allows us to blossom and thrive in the greater that He has gifted to us.

So today, I just want to remind you that you possess the power and Spirit of The Living God on the inside you. There is nothing that you can’t do because our God makes all things possible. Remember that before you were even born The Lord set you apart because He had a holy and perfect purpose for your life. Let nothing and no one rob you of that truth. (1 John 4:4 MSG- You come from God and belong to God. You have already won a big victory over those false teachers, for The Spirit in you is far stronger than anything in the world.)

Dear Heavenly Father, today and everyday forth, let Your Holy Spirit remind us of and guide us to our greater in You. Lord, help us to understand and embrace the perfect plan that you have purposed for our lives. Allow our hearts to always be cognizant of the beauty and value of the desires that you planted within us. Father, as we live our lives for You, help us to realize that the dreams that seem impossible for us to achieve on our own are the very dreams that are made possible with Your help and by Your power. Lord, in us knowing that, please give us the heart to seek You first and always. In the name of Jesus Christ, Your precious Son, and our Lord and Savior— I pray, Amen and so be it.
