Set The World On Fire With Purpose

(Isaiah 14:24 NIV- The Lord Almighty has sworn, “Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will happen.)

When I read today’s focal verse I felt this indescribable joy begin to arise within my heart and I smiled because I was reminded that the purpose that God has for my life will stand firm and unwavered no matter what. It reminded me that what He has promised me shall be. I find it amazing that God has this empyreal purpose that He planned just for me and each day He whispers the truth of His promises to my heart making me more cognizant of who He is in my life and the greatness that He expects of me. He nurtures my dreams and the desires of my heart with His living water allowing them to blossom right before my eyes.

There is no one greater than our God. Everyday that He allows us to wake up is a day that we get the chance to choose to draw nearer to Him and live that day greater than the previous through His Presence. Every breath that we take has great purpose because every second that we’re alive is a sign from God that He treasures the purpose that He designed and created us to carry out.

If you’ve ever wondered why you’re still here, know that it’s because of the incredible plan that God predestined for your life. (Jeremiah 1:5 MSG- Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you.) Take a moment to conceptualize what that truly means. … God chose us, loved us, treasured us, and decided that He was going to bless us before He even gave us life. If you can’t think of anything else to praise Him for, praise Him for that alone because He’s worthy!

My purpose for today’s post is to remind you guys that you are loved, you are valuable, you are beautiful inside and out, and your purpose is vitally needed and exceptionally great! Embrace all that He has created and called you to be! Believe that you are all that God says you are! And trust that all that He has promised you is yours to keep because His promises and His purpose endure forever!

  4. This post is so encouraging! We need to remind ourselves every day that God loves us and is with us. And then we need to praise Him as you have done here. When I woke up this morning, I asked God to help me be grateful today, to be cheerful and look for ways to praise Him. You have certainly helped as I read through your words exhorting me to praise!   5. This is so perfect and so timely. Tomorrow I am teaching my women’s group at church. We are reading Priscilla Shirer’s The Resolution for Women and we are covering chapters called Authentically Me and Faithfully His. What you’ve written ties in seamlessly with these chapters. I am actually going to print this post and read it to the ladies tomorrow, telling them about you and this timely word!

  6. Love that quote from Saint Catherine of Sienna. It reminds me of a similar quote from St. Ignatius of Loyola that he said to Jesuit novices when they were admitted to the Society of Jesus—”Go forth, and set the world on fire.”
