With GOD, You Can Slay “life” And Win!

(Isaiah 9:4 VOICE- You will shatter the yoke that burdens them, You will lift the load that weighs them down, You will break the rod of their oppressor.)

The power and Presence of God reigns supreme exceedingly above and surpassingly beyond all things. The beauty in our intimacy with Him is, no matter what we may have to endure in life or no matter how difficult life may seem at times, it doesn’t have the power to defeat us. Though we often can’t conceptualize the blessings and breakthroughs that God has ahead of us in the midst of the weight of our burdens and the brokenness that our hearts bear, the fact still remains that our God is so much greater than all of the heartache, disappointment, fear, and frustration that we allow to consume us.

If we truly believe in God and the promises of His Word, then why do we still try to carry our own crosses instead of entering into His Presence and laying them before Him? (Matthew 11:28-30 MSG- “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to Me. Get away with Me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with Me and work with Me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with Me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”) Jesus gives us the option to exchange our brokenness and our ashes for His crown and His beauty. There is no exchange in this life that is greater than that.

It’s so crucial that we learn to trust and have complete faith in God instead of relying on ourselves because I can promise you this, our efforts will never match or compare to His power. He’s The Foundation in which we live, walk, breathe, stand, and literally exist and there will always be this need for more and this feeling of inadequacy without Him in our lives. I think the reason we often feel defeated and overwhelmed by life is because it’s simply not enough for us to want God to be in our lives. We have to know that we need Him and by need, I mean need as in can’t live without Him and then surrender that need in His Presence. Our lives would be fulfilled in ways that we never could’ve imagined, dreamed of, or even prayed for if we just allowed our hearts to embrace that truth. We want to know and then trust, meaning we want to be able to see before we believe. But God wants us to trust and then know, meaning He wants us trust Him before we’re able to see and know in our hearts that He will provide. (2 Corinthians 5:7 GNT- For our life is a matter of faith, not of sight.)

I believe with my whole heart and soul that with God this life will not defeat me. I believe that He has already conquered everything that has the power to break to me as well as everything that I’ve felt has left me broken. And the reason I believe that is because Jesus said it. (John 16:33 AMP- I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have perfect peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer, take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted! For I have overcome the world. I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.) I believe in every truth that He promised in His Word and that’s what I want for you.

Don’t live your life feeling defeated and merely existing. Live your life believing that God is with you, expecting Him to help you conquer and overcome victoriously, and knowing that He has the greatest reward with your name written on it if you’ll simply trust Him. Live your life with a smile in your heart as well as on your face not just as you overcome, but as you slay the life that involves everything that has tried to defeat you knowing that God has prepared a Life of perfection ahead of you!

I love you guys!
